If we had a dollar for every catastrophic Puddle Of Mudd performance from Wes Scantlin, we could probably bail him out the next time he gets kicked off stage.
Another one happened over the weekend, but this time, he says it wasn’t quite his fault.
On Saturday, during a benefit show at Daytona Bike Week, the band played a concert with free entry. According to Loudwire, people quickly reported sound issues and “impaired stage presence” from Wes, stumbling and rambling onstage, apparently causing fans to leave during their set. Some people in the crowd made comments saying, “Last night’s show was a total disaster. I felt really bad for the rest of his band,” and “I’d be pissed if I spent my money to see that terrible show. We left after 4 songs. When the band trashed the opening song and singer kept joking about I knew it was going to be a s*** show.”
The next day, he appeared in a reel for a Cash4HarleyParts Facebook page, asking Wes how the show went last night. He responded: “I suck. I suck and I suck. But I was roofied.” Then he continued with, “My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night,” and then proceeded to flip the camera off and spout profanities… in typical Wes fashion. Wes… get it together man! Read more about thefiasco from Loudwire HERE.
