Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus is auctioning off his Banksy painting, “Crude Oil (Vettriano),” which is expected to sell for up to $6.3 million at Sotheby’s London on March 4. The musician plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale to the California Fire Foundation, the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Cedars Sinai Hematology Oncology Research. Hoppus acquired the painting – which Banksy finished in 2005 – with his wife Skye in 2011, and he says that they “loved this painting since the moment we saw it. Unmistakably Banksy, but different. It’s borne witness to our family over these past dozen years.” The rare piece will be on display at Sotheby’s New York until February 20, and will be displayed in London from February 26 to March 4. Hoppus’ Banksy will then be one of the featured pieces in the Modern & Contemporary Evening Auction in London that will also include works by Pablo Picasso and Roy Lichtenstein. (Rolling Stone)

What's the WORST part of going to a concert in Nashville now?
Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
Sat May 16
Nashville, TN, USA
Partly cloudy
