Layne Staley left behind more than just music—his lost journal, now being turned into a book, unveils the thoughts, dreams, and struggles of an unforgettable vocalist.
The upcoming book titled This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals of Layne Staley, will reportedly feature a collection of his poetry, artwork, lyrics, fan tributes and more. According to Loudwire, the description of the book reads, “Through never-before-seen poetry, raw handwritten lyrics, intimate scribblings, and heartfelt notes, Layne’s inner thoughts and emotions come to life, offering a glimpse into the mind of a musical genius who defined a generation.”
