Will Ferrell stopped by the “Today” show where they asked him how he felt about a six-foot tall animatronic of Buddy the Elf that went viral for “horrifying” shoppers around the holidays. The man behind the iconic character, of course, was not a fan and said it was creepy…which then prompted the “Today” team to wheel out the monstrosity that looks nothing like him.
As the robot recites Ferrell’s lines from “Elf”, Ferrell plays up how uncomfortable it is before he shoves the monstrosity off to the side.
