Donelson Christian Academy will name it’s gym after 1997 grad Nate Bargatze. The comedian hosts an annual fundraiser golf tournament for the school and also recently donated $1.15 million to DCA for construction of an athletics indoor practice facility. Bargatze ran track for the school but was cut from everything else while he was there. “I got cut from basketball. I think I got cut from golf, to be honest. I played track my senior year and that was the only thing I made.”
The presentation will be between the girls and boys varsity basketball games on January 17th.
