So you’re telling us that “Music City” isn’t the top city for music lovers?!
SeatPick ran a study to determine the top cities for fans of music. According to their website, they said they collected the data based on “cities known for their music scenes, the number of music venues per city, the upcoming music festivals and concerts in the city, the number of vinyl record and musical instrument shops, and how many artists and bands call the city their home.”
Here are the Top 10 Cities:
- London
- Los Angeles
- Chicago
- New York City
- Nashville
- Seattle
- Austin
- Denver
- Boston
- Atlanta
SeatPick wrote about Nashville,
Nashville is famous for being the home of country music [UGHHH], so it’s no surprise to see it in the global top 10. The city scored 8.72/10, landing it in fifth place. That would explain the 1,211 concerts planned and the 479 artists and bands that call the city home. Nashville is let down by the small number of music festivals (three).
