Dave Grohl Feeds the Homeless on a Day Off in Australia

The Foo Fighters are currently on tour in Australia, and during a day off of the tour, Dave reportedly spent it volunteering at the Melbourne-based Big Umbrella Foundation, providing “an epic American-style BBQ with all the trimmings.”

According to the organization’s Instagram post (also posted below), they said Dave and other volunteers “served tirelessly in the sweltering heat for over 2 hours feeding 430 meals, posing for photos, signing whatever people found from cardboard plates and t-shirts whilst also being so humble.”

This is definitely not the first time Dave has provided his time (and delicious food) to the homeless. He’s also helped fee the homeless many times in Los Angeles. Earlier this year in March, he served 450 homeless people in an 18-hour period. Read more from NME HERE and in the Instagram post below.
