If you work outside of the house and have to commute to and from work every weekday, then you could’ve probably guessed that Nashville would rank pretty high on this list. But according to Forbes, it’s official… Nashville has the worst commute out of any other city in the country.
A study was conducted to determine the worst commutes based on total workers over 16, average travel time to work, percentage of households without access to a car, walk score, bike score, and transit score. Nashville ranked #1 overall, followed by Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Houston, TX, and Washington, D.C.
Forbes also said, “Research showed that commuters in Nashville lost 41 hours in congestion in 2022.” Read more on the study HERE.
