Powdered Beer is a Thing Now?

…and it works exactly the way you think it would.

This brewery in Europe concocted powdered beer, where you stir in a tablespoon of the powder into a glass of water, just like you would instant coffee.

The current version is non-alcoholic. So, what’s the point of it?  Their answer: The environment.  It’s cheaper and easier to transport, so there’s a much smaller carbon footprint.
