‘One of my favorite bands, Have A Rad Day, released a RAD new single on Friday and already my October is 10x better then my September was. Have A Rad Day features one of my favorite singer songwriters, the insanely criminally underrated and insanely talented Thomas Sweat. Every once in a while a band comes along with a signature sound and overall vibe that just hearing a part of their song, you automatically know it’s them and Have A Rad Day are one of those bands. In an industry where it’s rewarded to follow trends and try and fit in, I’m always thankful for songs and bands like this, it gives me hope that the essence of rock n roll and making music the way you want it is alive and well. “I Miss Mac Miller” is a heartfelt rad tune with all the things we’ve grown to love about Have A Rad Day, but there’s also a sense of growth. These boys are growing into their own and being the band not only they want to be, but the band they were meant to be. Honestly this song makes me miss Mac Miller myself and I’ve never even heard a Mac Miller song. Now do yourself a favor and turn this one up NOW.
