For decades, we’ve been content with the brilliant astrological images of our universe, sent to Earth by the Hubble telescope.
That all changed this week when NASA revealed images of the James Webb telescope. It is, in fact, our vast orbital neighborhood in hi-def.
Webb’s NIRCam has brought the murky distance into crystal clear focus, including the SMACS0723 cluster, the way it appeared over 4 billion (with a “B”) years ago.
