It sounds like a scene from the movie Empire Records, but luckily for us living here in Nashville, it’s a real life rock n roll tale. East Nashville’s beloved The Groove record store is in danger of closing and Nashville bands aren’t having it. There are a few benefit shows coming up to save the Nashville staple record store and a GoFundMe as well. These lineups alone say a lot about how important The Groove is to this city. The first benefit is this Saturday and has 5 of my favorite Nashville bands all on one bill. Long live The Groove!
