Most of us watch prank videos and get a bit of a kick out of them. Robbery prank videos have become massively famous on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. They garner thousands and in some cases millions of views.
So, if you’re trying to become an internet sensation and/or YouTube star, a prank video might be on your list of videos to try. For Timothy Wilks, it was and that prank went terribly wrong.
After approaching individuals in the parking lot of Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Old Hickory, the YouTuber was shot by a man who took the prank robbery to be serious.
No arrests have been made, and Metro PD said they’re investigating whether or not the shooter acted in self-defense.
This is a very unfortunate story and our thoughts are with all involved.
