Kevin Mazur/WireImageDC Comics has announced a line of variant covers in its Dark Nights: Death Metal series featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Ghost and Megadeth.
Each of the seven Dark Nights issues will feature a special cover depicting a different metal artist in a comic book style, along with an introduction written by said artist, and an exclusive interview.
Others taking part include Dream Theater, Lacuna Coil, Opeth and Sepultura. The covers will be available starting in March.
Dark Nights: Death Metal, which follows characters including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as they take on a villain known as the Batman Who Laughs, originally launched last June. It was accompanied by a visual component featuring Black Veil Brides‘ Andy Biersack as the Caped Crusader, and a new Rise Against song called “Broken Dreams, Inc.”
