Z2 ComicsAnthrax has announced a new graphic novel based on the band’s 1987 album, Among the Living.
The book will feature an original story to accompany each song on the record, written by guitarist Scott Ian, Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Gerard and Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance, Rob Zombie, Fall Out Boy‘s Joe Trohman and comedian Brian Posehn.
Additionally, acclaimed comic writers Grant Morrison, Jimmy Palmiotti, Brian Azzarello and Rick Remender have also contributed to the project.
The Among the Living graphic novel is set to be released in spring of 2021. It will be published by Z2 Comics, which has also worked with artists including Skillet, Dio, Grateful Dead, Gorillaz, and Black Veil Brides‘ Andy Biersack.
