Covid has thrown a wrench into all of our amazing tours we had planned for this year. This is probably the longest I’ve gone without attending a show in a while. Although I’ve kinda gotten used to it, that sparks the question, when will it ACTUALLY be okay to start them up again?
I’ve seen Facebook posts and have overheard some people saying “I would do anything to go to a concert again.” Anything? If that’s the case, then what about this?
Billboard reported that Ticketmaster just revealed this week that they’re working on a system where you’ll have to prove that you’re either vaccinated OR you’ve tested negative for Covid. If you’re one of the two, then you’re okay to attend the show.
Here’s how it would work… After buying a ticket to a concert, fans would need to verify that they have already been vaccinated (covering them from the virus for one year), or test negative for coronavirus around 24 to 72 hours prior to the concert. This would all be done through the Ticketmaster app.
So many questions… I guess we’ll have to see how this all pans out. In the meantime, you can read more of the study from Billboard HERE.
