Credit: Travis Shinn/Chuck BrueckmannSevendust frontman Lajon Witherspoon took an unexpected trip to the emergency room Monday after accidentally cutting his finger with a Swiss Army knife.
In an Instagram post, Witherspoon shared a photo of himself in the hospital with his finger wrapped up in cloth.
“Accidents do happen can’t believe I’m [in] the ER,” Witherspoon wrote in the caption. “Haven’t been in a emergency room since 1975.”
Witherspoon also shared that he was treated with stitches, and thanked the hospital staff.
Hopefully Witherspoon will be 100 percent in time for Sevendust’s upcoming livestream to celebrate the release of their new album, Blood & Stone. The online concert airs on October 23, the same day the record will drop.
