Credit: Nick FancherBeartooth is chronicling the band’s current European tour in a new online documentary series.
The first episode, streaming now on YouTube, includes footage from Beartooth’s recent shows in Germany and Austria, and also reveals that the “Hated” rockers have started writing their fourth studio album.
“It’s definitely being made with a lot of live intention in mind,” frontman Caleb Shomo says of the direction of the new material. “That’s kinda the point of most of these songs so far: what are people gonna just have a really good time at a Beartooth show listening to?”
Shomo adds that he currently has “14 full song ideas” for the next record, which will follow 2018’s Disease.
Beartooth’s European tour will wrap up in March. The band will play a group of U.S. shows in April.
