The Metallica Scholars Initiative, a collaboration between the band’s own All Within My Hands foundation and the American Association of Community Colleges, is expanding from 10 to 15 schools in 2020 after successfully placing over 90% of participants in 2019, the year the program began. Each of the 15 schools involved will receive $100,000 toward programs designed to help students entering the American workforce.
