That they are friend, that they are! Even if you weren’t from Oakland, you probably remember the Bash Brothers in the 80’s. Jose Conseco and Mark McGwire were baseball gods! McGwire( played by Akiva Schaffer) and Canseco(played by Andy Samberg) are the subject of the latest project from The Lonely Island, The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience, a “visual poem,” available via Netflix, that imagines the duo as Bay Area rappers. Even if you don’t remember the Bash Bros, you can still laugh at the absurdity of the boys from Lonely Island. You can also see the boys at Bonnaroo coming up Sunday June 16th as they kick off their first ever tour! If you don’t have Netflix, I included a couple videos below! Bash On!
