Previously on Locals Only: Meter

Meter is an alt-metal band from Nashville, TN. Formed in 2024, Meter was created by musicians who already knew the alternative and hardcore scenes from the inside. The band began when Luke Granered and Cortney Hale started writing songs inspired by the era of rock that shaped them — a time when bands like Linkin Park, Incubus, P.O.D., and Trust Company blurred the lines between heaviness, melody, and vulnerability. They recently released their first 7 track EP, “Testing My Patience.”
