Middle Tennessee is in for another round of brutal heat, with a Heat Advisory in effect through Friday for most of the area.
According to FOX 17, high temperatures are expected to reach 99 to 100 degrees each day, while the heat index could make it feel more like 100 to 108 degrees. Southern Kentucky is also dealing with the heat, with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect for parts of the region through Saturday evening.
And because apparently we haven’t suffered enough, rain chances are expected to remain pretty scarce through the first week of September. So yeah… September has officially decided it wants to keep feeling like July. Stay hydrated, limit time outside during the hottest parts of the day, and maybe don’t touch your steering wheel without thinking about it first.
