Wolfgang Van Halen went full chaos mode on his own fans during a Cincinnati show, and it was 100% intentional.
On April Fool’s Day, he hyped the crowd up like he was about to break his long-standing “I’m not playing my dad’s stuff” rule and finally bust out a Van Halen songs classic. The audience was losing it, thinking they were about to witness some sacred, never-gonna-happen moment… and then he pulled the rug hard.
Instead of a legendary rock anthem, his band Mammoth WVH launched straight into Never Gonna Give You Up. Honestly, savage.
