With everyone and everything moving to Middle Tennessee from California now, might as well bring the world’s largest punk rock record collection along, too.
Yes, this collection is now at MTSU. This will be a major archival project at the university’s Center for Popular Music that will take quite some time to organize before available to researchers or the general public.
One exciting find so far of the 50,000 record collection, is what is believed to be the first ever recording from The Beastie Boys.
