Today we talked about the release of Quiet Riot’s “Metal Health” back in 1983. It became the first heavy metal album to reach number one, which is amazing considering that Michael Jackson’s Thriller and The Police’s Synchronicity held the top spots for 39 weeks that year combined. The album sold 6 million copies in America.
