Maynard James Keenan is mourning the peaceful passing of his father, Mike Keenan. The Tool frontman shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father on Instagram over the weekend, where he reflected on his dad’s eventful life while sharing a series of photographs of them together over the years. “My Father, Mike Keenan, also my Wrestling coach and HS Teacher, passed early yesterday. He went peacefully in his room,” Maynard shared. He praised his father as being described as “Wild and Ungovernable,” recounting a story of his dad totalling Maynard’s truck after he was “hit by the train that only comes through Scottville once a month.” The photos shared by Maynard revealed a striking resemblance between dad and son, with the singer closing his touching eulogy by writing, “This was my father. And he will be missed. Be Ungovernable. Be Wild. We will miss you, Mike.” (Consequence of Sound)

What's the WORST part of going to a concert in Nashville now?
Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
Sat May 16
