System of a Down‘s “Toxicity” music video has reached one billion views on YouTube, becoming their second visual to achieve this milestone, joining the video for the band’s Grammy-nominated 2001 single, “Chop Suey!” The “Toxicity” video is co-directed by Marcos Siega and bassist Shavo Odadjian, and the title track of the band’s chart-topping sophomore album reached No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 2002 and No. 7 on the Alternative Airplay chart. The video milestone arrives while System of a Down is preparing to hit the road on their upcoming Wake Up! stadium tour throughout North and South America. The jaunt gets underway on April 24 in Bogota, Colombia, and hits the U.S. on August 27 for the first of a two-night stand at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey where they will be joined by special guests Korn. Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
Sat May 16
