In addition to being the frontman of Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle, Maynard James Keenan also earned a black belt in Jiu Jitsu earlier this year. The musician just announced that he is releasing a new instructional film about the martial art titled, The Great In Between: An Introduction to Jiu Jitsu. According to Keenan’s press release, the film is a “90-minute class” that “offers a hands-on seminar tailored for beginners and the Jiu Jitsu-curious.” The Great In Between was filmed at the Verde Valley Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Cottonwood, Arizona, and captures Keenan and his fellow black belts educating viewers about “the essential development of stabilizing muscles and myelin connections, building a foundation for success in this confidence-building, puzzle-solving martial art.” The Great In Between was directed by Chris Staab, and includes music from Puscifer in the film. It is set to begin streaming on December 13th via Puscifer TV, with pre-orders of the film and commemorative merch bundles available. (Consequence of Sound)

The singer had to crowd-surf during the quiet song
Merch guys roasted you before selling you a shirt
