During the opening party for Jon Bon Jovi’s new bar, JBJ’s Nashville, guests were treated to a surprise performance by none other than Bon Jovi themselves. It was a rare live set by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, who haven’t played live over the last few years because of Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal issues. Bon Jovi’s unannounced five-song set featured “Blood on Blood” and “Born To Be My Baby” from 1988’s New Jersey, “We Weren’t Born to Follow” from 2009’s The Circle, the No. 1 hit “You Give Love a Bad Name” from their 1986 chart-topping album, Slippery When Wet, and the band’s recent single “Legendary” from the new album, Forever. Bon Jovi’s Nashville mini-set was only the band’s second gig since their last tour wrapped up in May 2022, after a two-song performance in February at a MusiCares ceremony honoring Jon Bon Jovi. What's the WORST part of going to a concert in Nashville now?
Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
