Yep and its actually been going on for a few years now. I also need to tell you, its not full size airplanes. They’re RC planes. But yes, people build them, fly them, and then wreck them. Its called “Combat”(naturally) and its part of FliteFest in Malvern, Ohio. Its been called “Battlebots on steroids.” There are tons of videos online if you want to really get into this.
