I’ve had some bad luck trying to fly recently. I was part of Southwest’s meltdown before Christmas and also got my flight cancelled during the windstorm March 3rd. Years ago I was on a flight that was delayed because the crew couldn’t get the bathroom door to stay shut. This might be the weirdest reason for a flight delay I’ve ever heard of though! A Delta flight from Houston to Atlanta was delayed for about three hours when THOUSANDS OF BEES swarmed on the wing of the airplane. A beekeeper was not allowed to remove the bees as he was not allowed to touch the plane, pest control would not be allowed to spray the bees, and the airport was also unable to use a hose to spray the wing with water. The bees eventually left and so did the plane.
