Can Dave Grohl add “comic book hero” to his resume now?
TidalWave Comics is proud to announce the addition of Dave Grohl to its popular “Orbit” comic book series focused on personalities who impact the world. “Orbit: Dave Grohl” is released this week.
The new comic is part of TidalWave’s Orbit comic book series, which focused on personalities that impacted the world.
Written by Adam Rose and illustrated by Martin Gimenez, the 22-page comic book can be found on multiple platforms. It is available in paperback and hard cover.
Grohl was born in Warren but moved to Maryland as a young child with his mother, where he grew up and attended high school. He would visit his father in Warren during the summer.
Grohl’s rise to fame began with Nirvana and reached new heights with his own band, The Foo Fighters. The comic book traces his life strory.
“As a reluctant reader, I found the comic book form easy to access, so I always believed comics could both entertain and teach,” said publisher and creative force Darren G. Davis. “I have always found Grohl an amazing performer and an icon.”
