RHCP Fan is Mad He Bought Tickets to A Cover Band and Not The Real Thing

I guarantee this hasn’t been the first time this has happened to a Chili Peppers fan. Lesson learned?

There’s a man in Michigan that *thought* he was buying tickets to see Red Hot Chili Peppers, but it was to a cover band with a similar name.

He told Detroit Metro Times that “the way they were promoting the record that just came out, they were doing smaller venues out west.” Seeing the $20 price tag for a ticket, he immediately bought four. He also stated that he was “completely sober” when he bought them.

The name of the band was Red NOT Chili Peppers, a tribute band.

Now he’s apparently “fuming” at the incident.

$20 to see RHCP in a tiny club that fits 400 people? Come on, dude!!
