Colin Jarvis-Gaum also said that he started Pawmates due to Pal being a senior dog and needing to be at dog parks that were less lively. https://t.co/XEATR92qoU

My swiping days are long behind me, but for the sake of my pupper at home, I’d give this a shot!! There’s an app called Pawmates that lets you swipe to find your doggo a new friend in the area.
The creator, Colin Jarvis-Gaum from Toronto, says you create a profile, start swiping, and “if you swipe right on a person, and they’ve swiped right on you, then it starts a chat,” and then schedule a time and place to meet up. See? Sounds familiar to me!
Its description in the Apple Store says:
Pawmates is your friendly neighbourhood dog meetup app! Match, chat, and meet the dogs and people near you using geolocation. Looking for the top rated vets, pet food stores, walkers, or anything else related to your pup? Hop on over to our Pawmates Map and check out every animal business in your area! Pawmates is here to meet your every pet need and we’re growing daily! We want to build the biggest community of dog lovers around the world. So come join our family today!

I may or may not download it and start swiping for my good boy at home. Why not?!
