Idlewild have been a band for 25 years. That’s quite a milestone in an industry where a lot of bands break up in 25 days. The band celebrated by releasing “In The Beginning There Were Answers”, a book written by lead singer Roddy Woomble, that covers the band’s entire career to date.

Roddy Woomble joined Andy on Sunday night to talk about the book and share stories of switching from drums to singing, getting a record deal, the MTV show with Creeper Lagoon that wasn’t meant to be, randomly hanging with Dave Grohl in NYC, touring with Pearl Jam, and the ups and downs of being in a rock n roll band for 25 years.
