Yes, what many consider to be the best Batman ever, Michael Keaton, will return in 2022 as Batman. No, he is not replacing Robert Pattenson. Keaton, Pattenson, and even Ben Affleck will play Batman in different movies in 2022. Keaton will appear as Batman in The Flash—and Ben Affleck will be there too. Robert Pattinson takes on the role in The Batman when that movie premieres on March 4, 2022. The Flash returns Keaton and Afflect to their respective Bat Caves on June 2, 2022.
