In a tweet about the upcoming effort, Reynolds declared, “We are writing my favorite record.”
“I tried to sing some of it in my car tonight and was overwhelmed with memories of live shows with you,” the “Believer” singer wrote. “I ended up sing-crying in my car alone but felt surrounded by millions of you around the world.”
“[I] envisioned us singing together,” the musician added. “Soon.”
The upcoming album will be the fifth Imagine Dragons studio effort. It’ll follow the band’s one-two punch of 2017’s Evolve and 2018’s Origins.
