Robin & The Last Rites- Pet Semetary
I’ve always loved the Ramones classic “Pet Semetary” I initially had wanted to get a group of friends together to cover this a couple of years back, but just couldn’t find the time. Thanks to the lack of touring in 2020, myself and all my friends have had a LOT of free time this Halloween season. My pals Robin Wilson (Gin Blossoms), Paul Masson (Great American Canyon Band), Grey Wilson, and Mike Purcell got together to record our own version of the tune just in time for Halloween. Also shoutout to Dom Kreep for helping us name the band.
The Tenders- Bleed You Dry
The Tenders have been one of my favorite bands in town for the last couple of years. They’re one of those bands that don’t really fit into one genre and I’ve always loved that about them. They make music on their own terms and their songwriting seems to get stronger and stronger. Their latest single, “Bleed You Dry” has a great throwback vibe that is perfect for your Halloween party playlists.
Flight Attendant- Comedy Show
Every once in a while a band comes along that you know is going to be huge, it’s just a matter of time for the rest of the world to catch on. Flight Attendant has been that band for me for awhile now. Judging by their social media presence and releasing killer track after killer track, I’m not surprised one bit to see them doing big things. Their latest single “Comedy Show” has been on repeat for me all weekend long.
Kreeps- The Dead Sled
It’s crazy to think it’s been 10 years since Red Dead Redemption “Undead Nightmare” was released. I’ll never forget playing the game on the road somewhere and thinking, “WHO did this music??”. I remember looking it up and loving the band name Kreeps. Now here we are 10 years later and Kreeps are one of my favorite bands. Dom has put out 2 of my favorite albums of the last decade and he’s a dear friend and regular guest on my radio show. Forever thankful for Red Dead Redemption introducing me to the horror rock music that is Kreeps.

True Villains- Blood In The Water
Nashville’s own True Villains have been killing it in 2020. They’ve been in the studio with superstar producer Nick Raskulinecz (Superdrag, Evanescence, The Lees of Memory, Halestorm, Foo Fighters) and both singles they’ve done with him have proven they are in the right company. I can’t wait for shows to come back so I can hear this new tune, “Blood In The Water” live.
