Frontman Jason Aalon Butler wrote the eight-track collection after spending 13 days protesting in the streets of Los Angeles following the killing of George Floyd.
“This project is art as activism first,” Butler says in a statement. “I’m talking about what’s happening and what needs to happen. I hope you understand there’s going to be pain in progress. After dismantling and deconstructing all of these things, we can find a beautiful place to be together.”
“For me, this whole EP is that 13 days after 34 years,” he adds. “You f***ed with the WRONG GENERATION.”
WRONG GENERATION will be released October 23, and lead single “BITE BACK” drops October 19.
Along with the EP, FEVER 333 has announced a global livestream tour, featuring six online performances timed for prime time viewing in various time zones around the world.
