Rivers Cuomo and company are guesting on The Simpsons this Sunday. In the episode, titled “The Hateful Eight Year-Olds,” the Weezer members will provide the voices for Sailor’s Delight, the house band playing a cruise taken by Homer and Marge.
Additionally, the episode will feature the premiere of a new Weezer song called “Blue Dream,” which will appear on the band’s upcoming album, Van Weezer.
Ahead of their appearance, you can listen to Weezer’s cover of the iconic Simpsons theme song, streaming now on YouTube.
Other bands who’ve appeared on The Simpsons include Aerosmith, The Smashing Pumpkins, The White Stripes, Green Day, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and, of course, Fall Out Boy, whose name is a Simpsons reference.
The Simpsons airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
