The money comes from ticket sales to FFDP’s 2019 fall arena tour, as well as proceeds earned by the band’s cover of “Blue on Black,” featuring Queen‘s Brian May, country star Brantley Gilbert, and the song’s original artist, Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
“We were always vocal about where we stand when it comes to veterans or first responders,” says FFDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory. “It has been a decade long effort using our platform to raise awareness, to educate and to keep this conversation on the forefront.”
