Jason LaVeris/FilmMagicThe Scott Ian band Motor Sister has begun working on a new album.
“It begins,” the group writes in an Instagram post. “Motor Sister is in the studio this week recording our new album.”
Along with the Anthrax guitarist, Motor Sister also features Ian’s wife, Pearl Aday, on vocals. The band released their debut album, Ride, in 2015.
Since then, Anthrax released a new album, For All Kings, in 2016. Ian also reunited with his band The Damned Things, featuring Fall Out Boy‘s Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley, Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley and Alkaline Trio‘s Dan Andriano, for the album High Crimes in 2019.
