Just think about waking up after a couple of hours of sleep and needing to take cover NOW, and all you have is what you’re wearing. The clothes on your back. With Tuesday’s tornado hitting at almost 1:00am, many people quite possibly had to take cover wearing their pajamas. So you know what the women are missing!
Hands On Nashville has a list of items that are needed while we clean the city up and take care of those immediately affected. On that list- bras and underwear… things we wouldn’t necessarily think of when donating! So if the Nashville women have a few bras with the tags still on, we can SUPPORT each other and donate them!
The list of items they mentioned as a “major need” are personal hygiene items, bleach, trash bags, gloves, box cutters, baby and toddler clothes, formula, underwear, bras, batteries, flashlights, baby food, and heavy-duty tarps.
You can drop off or mail to the Community Resource Center at 218 Omohundro Place, Nashville, TN 37210.
You can also donate items here at The Buzz! See our full list of items we’re accepting HERE.
Nashville is a proudly supportive city with a great willingness to help out when needed. At the link, there is a list of many ways you can volunteer or donate.https://t.co/RjuxrKb2C8
