In a Facebook update posted over the weekend, the Akron, Ohio rockers announced that they’re “entering into an indefinite hiatus.”
“We will be forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout the years,” the band writes. “Thank you for making RSR an unforgettable chapter in our lives.”
“Please continue to follow us individually for updates on our newest projects,” the statement continues. “We hope to move forward with all of you into the next phase of our careers.”
Red Sun Rising reached number one on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart twice, with “The Otherside” and “Emotionless.” The group’s most recent album is 2018’s Thread.
