Roadrunner Records Trivium will release a new album called What the Dead Men Say on April 24.
The upcoming record is the ninth studio effort from the Orlando metallers, and the follow-up to 2017’s The Sin and the Sentence.
“What the Dead Men Say is everything that is Trivium,” says frontman Matt Heafy. “On this album, one can hear the proper ingredients of past, present, and future Trivium. The Trivium sound is having everything the band does — on one album.”
Lead single “Catastrophist” is available now via digital outlets. You can watch its accompanying, nearly eight-minute video now streaming on YouTube.
Trivium will be on the road this summer and fall opening for Megadeth and Lamb of God‘s co-headlining tour.
