Credit: Brian CoxThe Used will release a new album titled Heartwork on April 24.
The eighth studio effort from the “Bird and the Worm” rockers includes the previously released single “Blow Me,” which features FEVER 333‘s Jason Aalon Butler, as well as a new song called “Paradise Lost, a poem by John Milton.” You can download both now via digital outlets.
“The new album plays on the emotions, the sincerity, and the vulnerability of the first record and In Love and Death, with a little bit of the flair from Lies for the Liars,” says frontman Bert McCracken.
Heartwork also includes guest appearances by Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker of Blink-182, plus Beartooth‘s Caleb Shomo.
The Used is currently in the middle of an intimate, sold-out U.S. tour. The outing continues Friday night in Baltimore.
