Miikka Skaffari/FilmMagicA crowdfunding campaign has been set up in support of Marilyn Manson bassist Juan Alderete, who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a bicycle accident last month.
The campaign, which was organized by Alderete’s wife, Anne, hopes to raise $250,000 to pay for services including “physical, occupational and cognitive therapies,” “in-patient care and therapy” and “special medical equipment.”
Manson himself shared a link to the campaign, adding, “My friend and band mate, Juan, needs our help. And you energy. Please give whenever you can. Thank you.”

Anne revealed the news of Juan’s accident in a January 24 Facebook post. In that post, she said that he was in a coma.
Alderete, who’s also played with The Mars Volta, joined Manson’s band in 2017.
