According to a tweet from Joseph, the White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather rocker sent him a collection of guitar pedals and vinyl records from his Third Man Records label. The package also included a personalized note that Joseph says, “encouraged me to stay inspired.”
“One of the cooler things to happen to me through music,” Joseph adds.
Maybe Twenty One Pilots will be the next artist to record a live album at the Third Man Records store in Nashville, following musicians including Pearl Jam, Billie Eilish, The Shins and Cold War Kids.
Twenty One Pilots’ latest album is 2018’s Trench.
