A whole lot of you have the day already planned or planned for you. Family coming over, eating around two, watching football and just enjoying each other’s company. For those of you who don’t have family around or want a little something less traditional, here’s some ideas.
Give Back: “Gobble Gooble Give Nashville 2019″ starts Thursday at 10am at Crazytown(308 Broadway). Volunteers help feed the homeless(over 4,300 meals last year) and some volunteers even get engaged! Yep, at least one couple did last year! Check out the event details at their facebook page or gobblegobblegive.org
Burn some calories: You know, before you take in that second helping of turkey and mashed potatoes. Do a run. There are a ton of Turkey Trots around the area. The Nashville Turkey Trot 10 Mile and 8K starts at 2 Rivers Parkway Thursday at 8:15am. The Music City Turkey Trot 5k starts at Nissan Stadium at 8am.
Enjoy the day and have a bottle of wine: Nothing wrong with just chilling at home and maybe getting an early start on Christmas movies. I stand by it that DieHard IS a Christmas movie. Anywhos…wine is what we’re here to discuss. Maxim.com came up with a list of American wines that would go well with your feast or just your couch.
Play Adam Sandler on Repeat! What would Thanksgiving be without Adam Sandler’s Thanksgiving Song?!
