Welcome to the millennial age, haha. This couple just got married recently, and instead of the super traditional unity candle or sand pouring, the moment they’ve been “official,” they paused the ceremony to log onto Facebook and change their marital status to “Married.”
It ain’t official until it’s Facebook official!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As much as I tried cyber stalking into this couple, I couldn’t find their actual Facebook profiles, but The Sun posted some screenshots of comments being made, and the internet has a huge problem with it. Go figure. People have been commenting things like “shame worthy” and “tacky as hell.”
You can shame them all ya want but I think this is actually kinda funny! Why not?! I like a quirky twist and I would’ve laughed if I attended this wedding!
